The rendered face on the left reminds me of Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail soooo much. I had to make him a little meaner looking and tone down the dark parts around the face.
This is the basic look for the costume I'm going for. From here I'm just going to fine tune the individual parts and add a bunch of details. I like the idea of my character still being in robes with leather "armor" protecting key places. I'm still figuring out the scepter.

Thanks! I was trying to make sense of the different parts of the costume. At this point I'm going to fine tune each piece of it. I started playing Dragon Age 2 recently and the game is giving me a lot of new ideas for the details of the armor.
